Pennsylvania. The township has seen a growing population in past years,
with 2,110 households and a total population of 5,569 people as of the last
census. Summit Township is home to much urban development along upper
Peach Street and is also the location for Presque Isle Downs and Casino.
The township is mostly Caucasian, with 98.25% of the population being White.
African Americans make up 0.56%, while 0.24% is Asian and 0.13% Native
